Aftercare Options & Memorial Choices

Dignified, respectful care for your companion after they have passed.

Thinking about what happens after your pet has passed is one of the most emotional parts of saying goodbye. There is no right or wrong choice, only what brings the greatest comfort to you and your family.

Whether you would like individual cremation with ashes returned, a peaceful communal cremation, home burial, or special memorial keepsakes, Lucia will guide you with warmth, clarity, and zero pressure.

Aftercare Options

If you choose cremation, the vet will personally take care of your pet’s transportation with tenderness and deep respect. You may decide in advance, or take time during the consultation to talk through what feels best.

Ashes returned with care

Individual Cremation

Your pet will be cremated on their own, and their ashes will be returned to you in your choice of urn or casket. This option allows you to keep your pet’s memory close and create a lasting tribute to honour their life.

  • Individual, dignified cremation.
  • Ashes returned to your home.
  • Choice of casket, urn, or keepsake.
Communal memorial

Communal Cremation

Your pet will be cremated with other much loved animals in a respectful, communal process. Ashes are not returned.

  • Respectful communal process.

Ashes return and support after your loss

Individual cremation includes the return of your pet’s ashes; communal cremation does not. Please ask about the expected timing and return arrangements when discussing aftercare, so you know what to expect.
